Techniques and Practice:

  • Working with Energy Lines
  • Led Practice Sequences
  • Techniques – instructions or the ‘how to do’ aspects
  • Balance between movement and resistance

You will further learn and understand the connection between instructions and actions.

Teaching Methodology:

  • The art of observing
  • When and how to adjust

Learning to observe the actions of others and self. First of all what to look for? Even more important, how does this help your practice?  When, how and why to adjust?

Anatomy and Physiology:

  • Correct use of anatomical terms
  • Asanas and their effect on the body systems

Why practice supported poses? Most noteworthy are their effects on the body. You will consequently learn how yoga can be implemented therapeutically.

Mudra and Savasana:

  • Learning the art of relaxing
  • Maha Mudra
  • San Mukhi Mudra

Savasana teaches you how to relax and is the common denominator for both asana and pranayama. The mudras teach to lift the spine and to withdraw senses.

  • Learning how to sit correctly
  • Hints and Suggestions for Pranayama
  • Techniques and their effects

Although breathing is a natural process, you can increase your capacity. The basis of pranayama begins with a firm foundation, that is, to sit straight and so enhance normal breath.

Yoga Philosophy:

  • Niyamas (Personal Observances)

There are 5 Niyamas. Discover how they bring inner discipline, remove inertia and encourage self restraint.
