Mission Beach Yoga

At Mission Beach yoga we teach exclusively in the Iyengar style.  The precision and alignment you are taught through detailed instructions ensures you learn correct body alignment.

We teach at the Progress Hall; a beautiful community hall which is right on the beach, within the council caravan park. All yoga mats and equipment are provided. You need only to bring a towel to place over blankets or bolsters that you use.

You can just turn up to classes ~ there is no need to book.

*Our classes run during the school terms only.

Both are drawn to Iyengar yoga because the focus is initially on the physical and practical aspects of yoga. With Iyengar’s precision, detail and alignment in the asanas injury is prevented, you learn to understand and know your body better and you feel the strength and flexibility unfold as you continue to practice.

The physical practice of Yoga leads to quietening the mind and stabilising emotions.  Yoga help to keep your work/life balance in check.
