Essestials of a yoga sequence includes poses that work on all parts of the body. The breathing, the shoulders and arms, the hips and the legs, the abdomen and the spine. Finishing with poses to calm nerves and brain. .,
8.30 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. Asana Sequence
Standing Poses: Connect us to the ground and so give foundation
Forward Bends: Calming
Balance Poses: Physically stengthen the arms and the legs
Backbending Poses: stimulate the central nervous system and are energising
Twists: Increase the digestive powers and keep the spine healthy
Inversions: teach us to stay focused even as our world turns upside down
Savasana: Remove fatigue and induce calmness of mind
- Please bring your mat, belt, bolster, blankets, bricks if you have them
Yoga workshops are designed so you gain a better understanding of how the asanas work and a unique opportunity to look at the functional anatomy and physiology in Yoga.
